About the role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to analyze financial information and prepare accurate financial reports. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our finance department, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations while assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial audits and generate reports.
• Analyze financial summaries and explain variances to the management team.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax returns in compliance with tax laws.
• Maintain and reconcile accounts in a precise and timely manner.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary financial information.
• Evaluate financial operations to recommend best practices and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor and manage cash flow and liquidity to meet short‑term financial obligations.
• Review and suggest cost‑control measures to improve overall organizational efficiency.
• Use accounting software to process business transactions and manage financial data.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Hands‑on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is an added advantage.
