Accountant

About the role

AVK Global is recruiting on behalf of a prestigious multinational publicly listed company for an Accountant position based in Dubai. The role offers experienced accounting professionals the chance to work within a multinational corporate environment and gain exposure to diverse financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Cash & Bank transactions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support day‑to‑day accounting operations.
• Rotate across different accounting functions as required.
• Prepare reports and assist with financial reconciliation activities.
• Utilise ERP systems, Tally, and Microsoft Excel to handle financial data efficiently.

Required profile

• 5–6 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a trading company.
• Semi‑qualified CA / CMA, M.Com, or MBA (Finance).
• Strong knowledge of AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, and Cash & Bank accounting.
• Willingness to work across multiple accounting functions on a rotational basis.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Tally.
• Familiarity with ERP accounting systems.
