Accountant

About the role

Abul Fazl Trading LLC is looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage its financial operations in Dubai. The role focuses on transaction recording, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and tax and inventory accounting for a trading environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounts payable and receivable, and post daily general ledger entries using Zoho Books.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations, inventory accounting logs, and periodic physical stock reconciliations.
• Prepare routine financial reports, trial balances, and management accounting summaries.
• Maintain proper tax documentation and support compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
• Audit vendor statements, customer receipts, and operational transaction schedules for accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–4 years of general accounting experience, preferably in a trading or commercial environment.
• Hands‑on expertise with Zoho Books / Zoho Accounting.
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT compliance, inventory tracking and bank reconciliations.
