Accountant

About the role

A Dubai-based consultancy firm offering advisory and support services is recruiting a full-time Accountant. The role covers day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements, reports and supporting schedules
• Calculate VAT and corporate tax, prepare returns and file them

Required profile

• Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience in accounting, auditing, tax filing and bookkeeping
• Experience managing the accounts of multiple clients is required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices, VAT and Corporate Tax
• Experience working with accounting, audit or bookkeeping firms is preferred
