Accountant – Luxury Hotel Group

About the role

FIVE Holdings is seeking a motivated Accountant to join its luxury hotel portfolio. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, supporting budgeting processes, and delivering insightful financial analysis within a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations with high accuracy.
• Prepare, analyse, and present financial statements and management reports.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Reconcile cash, investment, and other financial accounts.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience in the UAE, preferably within a luxury hotel or similar hospitality setting.
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (e.g., M.Com, CA Inter) is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Proactive, ownership‑driven attitude and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
• Competence in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
