Accountant - Outsourced Accounting Services

About the role

Plus UAE Group is setting up a new division offering outsourced accounting, bookkeeping, tax compliance and audit support services. It is looking for an experienced Accountant to help launch and grow the division, manage accounts for several external clients and set up its operating procedures. The role suits professionals with client-facing accounting experience rather than those who only manage the internal accounts of one company.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting and bookkeeping for multiple external clients, keeping financial records accurate and reports timely
• Coordinate with clients to collect documents, clarify transactions and answer accounting questions
• Support tax compliance and audit preparation
• Help build workflows, procedures and service standards, including onboarding new clients
• Support identifying and onboarding prospective clients and expanding service offerings
• Monitor service quality and reporting deadlines, and improve efficiency through better accounting systems

Required profile

• 4-7 years of experience in accounting outsourcing, bookkeeping, tax compliance or audit support, or in accounting consultancies and professional accounting firms
• Experience managing accounts for multiple external clients
• Immediate availability preferred
