About the role
We are looking for a skilled Accountant with solid experience in the construction or foundations sector. The role involves managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing accurate financial reporting to support management decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Process invoices, payroll, and expense reports.
- Prepare and file VAT returns and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors and external stakeholders.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost‑control activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the Construction/Foundation industry within the UAE.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Required skills
- Proficiency with e‑promise software or ERP accounting systems.
