Accountant - Professional Certified (UAE Real Estate)

About the role

A qualified and experienced Accountant is sought to join a team in the UAE. The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of accounting experience in the UAE real estate industry, with strong expertise in financial reporting, VAT filing and corporate tax compliance. Candidates without UAE work experience or real estate industry experience will not be considered.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting statements.
• Handle VAT calculations, filing and compliance under UAE regulations.
• Manage corporate tax calculations, filing and compliance with UAE tax laws.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, and analyse P&L statements and balance sheets.
• Monitor income, expenses, cash flow and financial performance.
• Handle real estate accounting transactions, including property-related income and expenses.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and UAE financial regulations.
• Assist with budgeting, financial planning, audits and management reporting.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure the accuracy of all financial transactions.

Required profile

• 5-10 years of relevant accounting experience.
• UAE work experience is mandatory.
• Real estate industry experience is mandatory.
• Professional qualification: ACCA, CA or CFA.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, P&L statements and accounting operations.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
