Accountant – Project Accounting (UAE)

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting and financial operations for an interior design/fit‑out company in the UAE. The role involves handling project‑based expenses, invoices, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions, bookkeeping, and financial records.
• Prepare and process sales and purchase invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintain accurate records of project‑related expenses, reconcile bank statements, and monitor payments.
• Assist with monthly financial reports, management accounts, and VAT filing.
• Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and internal teams regarding payments and invoices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in interior design, fit‑out, construction or contracting.
• Good understanding of UAE VAT and accounting practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
