Finance Business Partner Manager – Digital & Operations

About the role

The Manager – Finance Business Partnering, Digital & Operations will serve as the primary finance advisor to the Digital and Operations Directorates, overseeing a large annual expenditure portfolio and ensuring financial integrity across planning, projects, procurement and operational spend.

Key responsibilities

• Lead finance business partnering for Digital and Operations, providing trusted advice and challenge to senior leaders.
• Own annual business planning, budgeting, forecasting and re‑forecasting, including financial challenge and prioritisation of initiatives.
• Oversee financial oversight of major projects and portfolios, managing budgets, commitments, actuals, accruals and forecast‑to‑complete.
• Provide management reporting and performance analysis, highlighting variances, risks and opportunities.
• Lead financial review and challenge of business cases, investment proposals, financial modelling and benefits realisation.
• Deliver financial and commercial leadership in procurement and contracting, including tender evaluation and contract variations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• Professional finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA/CGMA, ACA, CPA) preferred; CFA, MBA or PMP advantageous.
• 8+ years progressive finance experience in FP&A, business partnering, commercial finance, management accounting or project finance.
