Accountant - Real Estate Projects

About the role

A detail-oriented Accountant is sought to manage day-to-day accounting, financial reporting and tax compliance, supporting the financial operations of the company and its real estate development projects. The position is based on site in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Prepare and coordinate VAT returns, corporate tax filings and other tax reporting in line with UAE regulations.
• Monitor project costs against budgets, process contractor and supplier invoices and track payments.
• Manage banking transactions, perform account reconciliations and help administer project escrow accounts.
• Support budgeting, cash flow forecasting and financial planning.
• Maintain financial documentation and assist with external audits and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in real estate development or construction is an advantage; Russian language skills are also an advantage.
• CPA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

Required skills

• Good understanding of UAE VAT, corporate tax and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, First BIT or similar.
• Project cost tracking and escrow account experience is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills, with attention to detail, able to work independently and in a team.
