About the role
Al Omar Properties is seeking a diligent Accountant to join its finance team in Sharjah. This full‑time, on‑site position will support daily financial operations and ensure accurate reporting for the company's real‑estate and property‑management activities.
Key responsibilities
- Record financial transactions and maintain accurate bookkeeping.
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and management reports.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with UAE tax and VAT regulations.
- Assist with internal and external audits and support audit documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments on financial planning and analysis.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll management.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, expense management, and UAE tax regulations.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP.
- Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA) are a plus.
- Experience in real‑estate or property‑management accounting is advantageous.
