Accountant - Trading & Manufacturing

About the role

Intercare is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant in Dubai. The role suits accounting professionals with experience in financial operations, reporting and inventory-related accounting, especially in trading or manufacturing environments. The successful candidate manages accounting processes, supports financial reporting, keeps accurate records and ensures compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate financial records.
• Handle purchase costing, inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.
• Prepare and support financial reports according to company requirements.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and financial reporting regulations.
• Review accounting data and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support month-end and regular accounting procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation for financial transactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in trading or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, purchase costing, inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and financial reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and Orion ERP.
• General accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Inventory accounting and reconciliation processes.
