Accounting Supervisor - Healthcare Expert

About the role

This role manages day-to-day financial operations, including month-end and year-end closing, cash management, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation and accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery. It suits someone with strong hands-on finance experience, preferably in a private hospital or healthcare setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end closing in SAP, reconciling sub-ledgers with the general ledger
• Prepare financial statements and management accounts in line with IFRS and regulatory requirements
• Oversee corporate tax and VAT compliance, including registrations, filings and returns
• Coordinate external audits and support audit requirements
• Prepare monthly MIS reports on budgets, expenses, payables, receivables and financial performance
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for group entities
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and financial trends for management decisions
• Support SAP implementation, troubleshoot finance issues and help adopt the system
• Coordinate physical inventory counts and support risk identification and mitigation for financial operations

Required profile

• ACCA, CMA or a Master's degree in Finance from a recognised university
• Minimum 10 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in a private hospital or healthcare environment
