Accounting & Treasury Manager

About the role

Moellhausen SpA is looking for an experienced Accounting & Treasury Manager to lead the accounting department at its Dubai office. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and provide strategic advice to senior executives.

Key responsibilities

• Issue and update the company budget.
• Process monthly payroll with WPS knowledge.
• Manage staff expenses and interact with the company bank.
• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, including data entry and control.
• Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including bill payments, petty cash, client invoicing, and collections.
• Maintain and reconcile cash and financial accounts.
• Manage fixed‑asset ledger, capitalization, and depreciation.
• Submit VAT returns, refunds, and ESR filings.
• Forecast cash flow and analyse revenue‑expenditure variances.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Coordinate annual audits and recommend procedural improvements.
• Maintain confidential communication with the head‑quarter accounting department.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a chief accountant in the UAE.
• Master’s degree or equivalent in accounting.
• Previous experience in an international company based in the UAE.
• Fluent English communication.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Proficiency with SAP.
• Knowledge of WPS payroll system.
• Experience with VAT return and ESR submission.
• Cash‑flow forecasting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and local regulations.
