Accounts Payable Manager

About the role

The Accounts Payable Manager at Core42 leads the end‑to‑end payables cycle, ensuring invoices are captured, validated and paid on time while maintaining strong controls. This senior finance operations position works closely with Procurement, Treasury, Tax and the wider Finance Operations team.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full accounts payable process from invoice capture to payment execution and month‑end close.
• Manage the payment run calendar, releasing payments within agreed terms and authority limits.
• Resolve invoice exceptions, disputes and supplier queries, escalating commercial issues when needed.
• Establish and maintain controls for three‑way matching, duplicate payments, supplier master data and segregation of duties.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax requirements, supporting audit activities.
• Deliver month‑end accruals, sub‑ledger reconciliations, ageing analysis and performance reporting.
• Partner with Treasury to improve cash‑flow forecasting and short‑term outflow planning.
• Drive automation of invoice processing and supplier onboarding.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years (96 months) of experience in accounts payable or finance operations.
• Proven experience leading a team of payables professionals.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, corporate tax and audit requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain financial controls.
