About the role
The Accounts Payable Specialist will manage all supplier invoices and payments for Palazzo Versace Dubai, ensuring accurate and timely processing in line with hotel standards.
Key responsibilities
- Verify and account for all items received by reviewing purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes and credit memorandums.
- Prepare and post vouchers, including cost distributions, into the accounting system daily.
- Issue cheques for non‑payroll payments and coordinate bank transfers.
- Reconcile monthly supplier statements with hotel AP records and maintain up‑to‑date filing.
- Maintain the Accounts Payable module, supplier master data and perform balance confirmations.
- Monitor pre‑payments, advances and post‑dated cheques, providing necessary accruals to the Financial Accountant.
Required profile
- Degree in Accounting.
- Hands‑on experience handling a high volume payable function, preferably in hospitality.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities with excellent vendor coordination.
Required skills
- SUN Financial systems.
- Microsoft Office applications.
- Inventory management system (advantageous).
