Accounts Receivable Supervisor

About the role

Accor is hiring an Accounts Receivable Supervisor in Dubai. The role manages incoming payments, keeps customer accounts accurate and ensures timely collection of outstanding invoices. It covers issuing invoices, tracking payments, reconciling accounts and following up on overdue balances to support healthy cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Issue and process customer invoices accurately and on time
• Record and post incoming payments to customer accounts
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts by call and email
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer account records and reconcile accounts, resolving billing discrepancies
• Prepare accounts receivable aging reports and track receivables to support cash flow management
• Coordinate with sales and customer service teams on billing issues and ensure compliance with credit and billing policies
• Investigate and resolve payment disputes, and assist in month-end closing and financial reporting
• Process credit notes, refunds and adjustments, and support audits with receivables documentation
• Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality in financial records

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field; a diploma in Accounting or Bookkeeping is an advantage
• 1-3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, accounting or finance roles
• Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred

Required skills

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and receivables processes
• Familiarity with invoicing, billing cycles and credit terms
• Experience with accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle NetSuite or similar
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and reconciliation
