Activities Officer – Recreation & Adventure

About the role

The Activities Officer supports all recreation and adventure experiences at RC RAK Al Wadi, ensuring guests enjoy safe, engaging, and memorable activities across pools, fitness areas, kids club, biking, desert excursions and wildlife encounters.

Key responsibilities

• Inform, upsell and schedule guests for a variety of activities, maintaining Marriott service standards.
• Deliver core desert‑based experiences such as stargazing, hiking, biking, wildlife feeding, bird‑watching and archery.
• Monitor safety, respond to emergencies, and report incidents involving guests or wildlife.
• Follow wildlife feeding procedures, handle animals safely and support conservation education.
• Maintain cleanliness of facilities, inspect equipment, and report any damage.
• Process transactions, manage cash handling and use internal systems as required.
• Collaborate with the recreation supervisor and manager, adhering to company policies.

Required profile

• Diploma or relevant experience in recreation, conservation, hospitality or outdoor environments.
• CPR & First Aid certification.
• UAE manual driving licence with 4x4 experience.
• Strong English communication and reading skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in desert conditions and handle wildlife safely.
