Adjunct Faculty - Applied Media

About the role

The Adjunct Faculty – Applied Media will deliver effective instruction in Applied Media subjects to second‑language learners within a student‑centric environment. The role involves teaching multiple areas of the program, participating in academic and community events, and supporting capstone and senior‑level courses.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective instruction in assigned Applied Media courses and at least two additional program areas.
• Teach undergraduate courses, including capstone projects, work‑experience components, and senior‑level specialized subjects.
• Participate in academic and extra‑curricular events at the college and within the community.
• Engage in applied research, outreach activities, and community service as welcomed.
• Maintain a teaching load not exceeding nine (9) credits per semester, with workdays Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM.

Required profile

• Master’s degree and a professional certification relevant to Applied Media (or a Bachelor’s degree with extensive industry experience and certification).
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant industry experience, preferred.
• Appropriate academic professional qualifications as required by the program.
