Advanced Quality Engineer - PCBA

About the role

Eaton is looking for an Advanced Quality Engineer specialized in Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) to ensure that all internal and external PCBA quality expectations meet Eaton standards. The engineer will manage PPAP completion for PCBA SKUs, support manufacturing readiness, and drive continuous improvement across the production line.

Key responsibilities

• Lead PCBA SKU PPAP completion following the Eaton ProLaunch process.
• Apply quality system standards throughout production, from IQC to final packaging.
• Analyze customer complaints and implement data‑driven corrective actions.
• Perform quality risk assessments during ProLaunch phases and align results with production targets.
• Track and analyse key quality metrics such as OEE (FPY) and SPC, and define action plans with production and technical teams.
• Support industrialisation and NPI projects by ensuring manufacturing readiness and compliance with quality policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years (84 months) of experience in PCBA quality engineering or related manufacturing engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of quality control practices and ESD safety procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively with manufacturing, technical, and production teams.
