Agency Managing Director - Sports Division

About the role

The Agency Managing Director will lead the growth and development of a sports‑ and culture‑focused marketing agency based in Dubai. Reporting directly to the Board, this senior leadership position holds full ownership of business performance, strategic direction, and P&L accountability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy across sports, entertainment and cultural partnerships.
• Scale the agency by strengthening client partnerships, building a high‑performance team and driving sustainable revenue growth.
• Lead key client relationships with sports properties, sponsors and rights holders.
• Build and expand commercial pipelines across clubs, leagues, federations and related ecosystems.
• Establish an organisational culture centred on performance, accountability and delivery excellence.
• Collaborate closely with the Board, providing structured reporting and clear performance visibility.
• Design talent development programmes and organisational structures to support rapid scaling.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering commercial growth within sports, entertainment or rights‑holder environments.
• Track record of scaling an agency or commercial organisation with measurable revenue growth.
• Established network across sports properties, talent agencies and commercial rights ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of how sports IPs generate and monetise commercial value.
• Hands‑on operational leadership style while managing senior stakeholders.
• Full P&L responsibility and experience reporting at board level.
