AI Reliability & Security Operator

About the role

Skyler Labs is seeking an AI Reliability & Security Operator to make its agentic operating system safe to scale. You will translate documented security discipline into enforceable guardrails, ensuring autonomous AI agents cannot access production, credentials, or sensitive data without proper controls.

Key responsibilities

• Own the agent control layer, including permissions, secrets, and deployment boundaries.
• Harden the deployment pipeline to prevent broken code from reaching production and enforce production gate controls.
• Build observability and auditability so every critical agent action is traceable and reviewable.
• Manage rollback discipline and incident readiness.
• Maintain a lightweight security posture with least‑privilege scopes, secret rotation, and dependency hygiene.

Required profile

• Solid DevOps, SRE, or platform‑security experience with CI/CD, secrets management, cloud infrastructure, observability, and incident response.
• Deep understanding of the agentic threat model and how autonomous agents differ from human operators.
• Pragmatic, stage‑aware mindset suitable for a pre‑scale startup.
• Comfort with Skyler Labs’ stack: Next.js, Supabase (Postgres with RLS, Auth, Storage), OAuth, Stripe, Twilio, and MCP‑based tooling.
