AI Technical Product Manager – QV.AC

About the role

Join Tether's AI team to lead the development of QV.AC, a privacy‑preserving, on‑device AI assistant. You will work closely with the Product Lead to turn emerging AI capabilities into user‑focused products that run locally on desktop and mobile devices.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the QV.AC vision into concrete use cases, feature proposals, and detailed product requirements.
• Conduct user research, gather feedback, and identify where AI can solve real problems.
• Write product briefs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and user flows for engineering and design.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and working prototypes using AI‑assisted tools.
• Collaborate with engineers on technical trade‑offs such as latency, memory, battery consumption, and privacy.
• Prioritize backlog items, support planning, and drive features from discovery through delivery.
• Stay up‑to‑date with new AI models, tools, and interaction patterns, recommending what to test or adopt.

Required profile

• 7+ years of product management experience, preferably on AI software products.
• Hands‑on experience building, shipping, or prototyping AI‑powered features.
• Strong understanding of AI concepts (inference, model capabilities, evaluation) and interest in on‑device AI.
• Ability to turn ambiguous ideas into clear user problems and actionable requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to discuss technical trade‑offs with engineers and explain them to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset and experience working in distributed teams.
