Senior Data Engineer

About the role

Bybit is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design and maintain robust data delivery systems that support compliance, trading, and other business functions. You will work with a global team to build analytical tools, automate data workflows, and ensure high‑quality data assets.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain structured data delivery pipelines for multiple business teams, ensuring timely, accurate, and traceable outputs.
• Develop analytical systems and monitoring dashboards to support performance attribution and operational oversight.
• Author data‑warehouse documentation, define field‑level standards, and lead company‑wide data asset governance.
• Create data agents to automate retrieval and analysis, improving team productivity.
• Design real‑time data collection solutions, including web scraping, API ingestion, and account management.

Required profile

• Strong Python programming skills for data analysis and modeling (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit‑learn, Matplotlib, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience with big‑data frameworks such as Spark and Hadoop, and familiarity with OLAP engines like Presto, Doris, StarRocks or ClickHouse.
• Advanced SQL expertise for complex queries and data modeling.
• Proficiency with AI coding tools (e.g., Codex, Claude Code, Kilo Code) and ability to integrate AI into daily workflows.
• Solid understanding of Git version control, Java/Spring (or Spring Boot), and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
