Air Conditioning Technician

About the role

The company is looking for an AC Technician who will deliver preventive maintenance and repair services to clients under an FM service contract. The role is part of a team focused on timely, positive responses and professional, compliant work.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance according to the agreed schedule and meet the completion rate specified in the FM service contract with the client.
• Work as part of a team delivering timely and positive responses to client inquiries.
• Take responsibility for assigned tasks and ensure they are done on time and professionally.
• Build effective working relationships and promote the company's culture and values.
• Work with the immediate supervisor to control costs and inventory and to maintain productivity and performance levels.
• Ensure health and safety compliance, plan and document due diligence and best practice for audits, and follow up as required.

Required profile

• Trade certificate in air conditioning (ITI).
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the UAE.
• English reading and writing skills for completing reports.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Required skills

• Operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of FCU, AHU, FAHU and VRF systems.
• Operation and maintenance of split units and window AC.
• Operation and maintenance of chillers (desirable).
• Operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of chilled water systems (primary and secondary motors).
• Motor winding tests, compressor winding tests, bearing alignment and shaft alignment.
• Replacing motors, compressors and blower units.
