About the role
Jawar Al Khaleej Maritime is seeking a qualified Second Engineer to join its offshore fleet. You will support the Chief Engineer in ensuring safe and efficient operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of vessel machinery, propulsion systems and auxiliary equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Chief Engineer with day‑to‑day engine‑room operations.
- Maintain and troubleshoot marine diesel engines, propulsion and auxiliary machinery.
- Carry out planned maintenance tasks and ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations.
Required profile
- Valid Second Engineer Certificate of Competency (CoC).
- Valid STCW certificates and seafarer medical certificate.
- Proven sea service as a Second Engineer, preferably on offshore support vessels such as tugs or AHT/AHTS.
