AML Supervisor (UAE National - Emiratisation)

About the role

A well-established insurance organisation in Abu Dhabi is hiring an experienced AML Supervisor for its Compliance team through a recruitment partner. The role suits an Emirati professional with strong exposure to AML, KYC and compliance frameworks, offering a key position in strengthening AML governance, regulatory compliance and risk management in a regulated insurance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee compliance with AML/CFT regulations, internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Conduct KYC reviews, Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)
• Liaise with regulators and support compliance communications and submissions
• Review suspicious transactions and support investigations, escalations and reporting
• Maintain accurate compliance documentation, records and reporting
• Support internal audits, compliance reviews and regulatory inspections
• Help strengthen AML policies, procedures and internal controls
• Provide AML/KYC guidance to internal stakeholders and ensure timely regulatory reporting

Required profile

• Emirati with Family Book (Emiratisation role) - mandatory
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in AML, KYC and compliance within the insurance sector
• Based in Abu Dhabi or willing to work onsite there
