Anaesthesia Consultant

About the role

Al Emadi Hospital is looking for an experienced Anaesthesia Consultant to provide high-quality anaesthesia care to its patients. The consultant administers anaesthesia during surgeries and other medical procedures, monitors patients' vital signs and ensures their safety and comfort throughout.

Key responsibilities

• Administer anaesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
• Monitor patients before, during and after anaesthesia, adjusting anaesthetics as necessary.
• Collaborate with surgeons, other physicians and healthcare professionals to plan the best anaesthesia for each patient.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including consultations and follow-ups.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
• Stay up to date with advances in anaesthesia practice and technology.
• Follow hospital policies, procedures and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Medical degree from a recognised institution.
• Valid medical licence to practice as an Anaesthesia Consultant.
• Board certification in Anaesthesiology.
• At least 5 years of experience as an Anaesthesia Consultant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
