Apartments Concierge

About the role

Fairmont Dubai, a luxury hotel in the business heart of the city, is looking for an Apartments Concierge to welcome guests personally on arrival and give them a warm, professional first impression. The role reports to the Leasing & Apartment Manager and is a permanent, full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome every guest entering the apartments and attend to guests leaving, offering assistance
• Remain observant and respond to guests passing through the front entrances
• Open doors for incoming and outgoing guests and give clear directions for retrieving a valet-parked car
• Report suspicious people or behaviour to security and arrange taxi transport for guests who need it
• Be an ambassador for the hotel and attend the shift briefing at the start of each shift
• Follow the Fairmont Code of Ethics and Occupational Health and Safety regulations
• Work with the Bell Persons on apartment numbers and help Housekeeping keep the driveway clean
• Perform other duties requested by management

Required profile

• Previous experience in the position is an asset but not required
• Good knowledge of the hotel, Dubai and current events
• Good English, spoken and written; a second language is an asset
• Physically fit to lift and move luggage, with frequent standing, walking, kneeling and occasional use of stairs and ramps
• Flexible working hours, high personal presentation and a guest-orientated attitude
• Eligibility to live and work in the UAE; the employer assists with the visa process and provides flights and accommodation
