Application Engineer – HVAC Solutions

About the role

The Application Engineer will support SKM distributors across the export territory by providing technical and sales assistance for the full range of unitary HVAC products. You will optimise product selection, prepare project submittals and help grow SKM’s market presence in the Northern Emirates.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain expert‑level knowledge of SKM HVAC products and applications.
• Provide design and specification support to consultants and respond to commercial and technical inquiries.
• Assist distributors and customers with product selection, quotation preparation and technical submittals.
• Deliver pre‑sales technical assistance, product education and training for sales teams and engineers.
• Support the development of new products and tools to enable target accounts to sell SKM solutions.
• Keep the Sales Management Tool (SMT) updated and report market feedback to management.
• Prepare technical presentations and demonstrations that align with client needs.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts, opportunities, quotes and project status in approved databases.
• Identify customer needs and sales opportunities to drive future growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in the air‑conditioning/HVAC industry.
• Strong market knowledge of the Northern Emirates (Abu Dhabi/Dubai).
• Proven ability to work with CRM systems and product selection software.
• Understanding of forecast processes and sales target achievement.
