Applied Scientist

About the role

Inception42, a G42 company based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking an Applied Scientist to develop efficient deep‑learning and generative AI algorithms and create innovative AI‑centric models across multiple domains.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyze and optimise foundational and applied AI research to power state‑of‑the‑art algorithms and models.
• Develop comprehensive multimodal solutions integrating text, audio and visual data.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to improve AI algorithms for efficiency, reliability and scalability.
• Work with product development teams to integrate new algorithms into products and conduct proofs of concept for clients.
• Propose AI‑driven scenarios to improve customer business efficiency and provide technical support pre‑ and post‑sales.

Required profile

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in computer science, engineering or AI‑related field, with specialisation in computer vision, NLP or speech/audio.
• Minimum 6 years experience developing AI algorithms for various modalities.
• Track record of high‑level research, evidenced by peer‑reviewed publications or product‑driven R&D.
