Aquatics Training Supervisor - Pool Services

About the role

The Aquatics Training Supervisor will lead the lifeguard team across pool, beach and waterfront areas of the upcoming Wynn Al Marjan Island resort. You will ensure safety standards, deliver Forbes Five‑Star service and support the development of the aquatics staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily lifeguard operations, assign positions, manage rotations and ensure coverage standards.
• Conduct pre‑shift briefings, monitor vigilance, provide coaching and handle performance feedback.
• Lead rescues, first aid, CPR, AED use and execute emergency action plans.
• Maintain and inspect rescue equipment, first‑aid supplies and safety devices.
• Deliver onboarding, in‑service, remedial and refresher training, assess competency and keep accurate training records.
• Coordinate with Pool Services, Engineering and technicians to ensure safe operation of aquatic areas.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; current recognized Lifeguard certification (ILS, RLSS, etc.).
• Lifeguard Instructor/Trainer and First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certifications strongly preferred.
• 2–3 years lifeguarding experience with supervisory or trainer responsibilities.
• Experience in luxury hotel, resort or high‑volume aquatic environments is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to use operational systems, communication platforms, radios and reporting tools.
