Arabic EYFS Teacher

About the role

We are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic Arabic EYFS Teacher to join the early childhood department at Cambridge International School – Dubai. The role involves delivering a play‑based, holistic curriculum that fosters curiosity, confidence and foundational skills in young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑quality, play‑based learning experiences aligned with the UK EYFS framework across the seven areas of learning.
• Deliver structured early literacy, phonics and numeracy programmes to develop strong cognitive and communication foundations.
• Create a safe, stimulating classroom and outdoor environment that supports intellectual, social‑emotional and physical development.
• Conduct continuous formative observations and EYFS profile tracking to personalise learning pathways and monitor developmental milestones.
• Promote inclusion for Students of Determination and English‑as‑Additional‑Language learners.
• Maintain regular communication with parents through updates, learning journals and workshops.
• Participate in phase meetings, CPD sessions, school improvement plans and school events.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood or a Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience within the EYFS framework (Nursery, Reception, FS1/FS2).
• Deep understanding of child development, play‑based learning and early phonics programmes (e.g., Read Write Inc., Jolly Phonics).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Desirable: Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Educational Leadership; experience in an accredited British International School in the UAE or UK.
