Arabic-Speaking Business Development Representative

About the role

Proofpoint, a global cybersecurity company protecting people, data and AI agents across email, cloud and collaboration tools, is looking for an Arabic-speaking Business Development Representative to support its Field sales team in the Middle East. The role reports to the Sr. Manager, Business Development and works with regional sales and marketing teams to generate sales-accepted leads through inbound lead follow-up and outbound prospecting.

Key responsibilities

• Qualify and develop inbound and outbound leads, respond to product inquiries and follow up on marketing-generated leads to turn initial interest into sales-accepted leads.
• Gather intelligence on assigned accounts (competitors, projects, purchase intent) and connect the sales team with influencers and decision makers.
• Work with Account Management and Marketing to define and run an account-based sales strategy for the Middle East.
• Manage email campaigns and cold-calling campaigns to generate new prospects.
• Track communications with current and potential customers accurately in Salesforce.com.
• Schedule demonstrations between the Commercial Sales team and potential customers.

Required profile

• Fluent Arabic and English.
• Highly motivated, competitive and detail-oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organisational skills.
• Previous experience in a goal-driven environment preferred.

Required skills

• CRM experience such as Salesforce.com is a bonus.
