Arabic Teacher

About the role

The Arabic Teacher will join an elementary school environment, delivering high‑quality language instruction to young learners. The role focuses on creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom where students can develop their Arabic proficiency alongside core academic skills.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver age‑appropriate Arabic lessons in line with the school curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom atmosphere that meets diverse learning needs.
• Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to support different learning styles.
• Assess, record, and report on student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Maintain classroom routines that promote respect, responsibility, and positive behaviour.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, parent‑teacher conferences, and school events.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to support student learning and well‑being.
• Uphold school policies and maintain high standards of teaching professionalism.
• Identify and respond to the individual needs of students, including those with special educational needs.
• Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance learning and engagement.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of child development and age‑appropriate teaching methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging students, parents, and colleagues.
