Arabic‑Speaking Legal Counsel – GovTech (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are seeking an Arabic‑speaking Legal Counsel to join a leading GovTech organization in Abu Dhabi. The role is ideal for a qualified lawyer with private‑practice experience who can provide comprehensive legal support across commercial, corporate and litigation matters throughout the UAE and GCC region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on commercial, corporate and regulatory issues.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Support corporate transactions, governance matters and strategic projects.
• Manage litigation matters and coordinate with external counsel.
• Advise on compliance, risk mitigation and internal policies.
• Conduct legal research and support business stakeholders across the group.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with experience in the UAE/GCC market.
• Background in a reputable law firm or private‑practice environment.
• Experience handling commercial, corporate and litigation matters.
• Fluent Arabic speaker.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
