Arabic‑Speaking SEN Inclusion Assistant

About the role

The school is seeking an Arabic‑speaking SEN Inclusion Assistant to provide one‑to‑one and group support for students with special educational needs, both inside and outside the classroom.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individualized and group assistance to students, supporting academic, physical, emotional, social, and behavioural needs.
• Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
• Promote student independence and social communication skills.
• Prepare learning resources and support curriculum differentiation.
• Maintain student records and communicate effectively with teachers and parents.
• Ensure compliance with school policies, health & safety regulations, and professional standards.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other educational professionals.
• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in special education, education, psychology, or a related field.
• Cache Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Additional certifications such as RBT or SEN‑related qualifications are preferred.
• Previous experience working with Students of Determination / Special Educational Needs is highly preferred.
• Strong English communication skills; Arabic‑English bilingual candidates are highly preferred.
• Patient, empathetic, organized, and able to work effectively within a team.
