Architect

About the role

Ghali Consultants is hiring an Architect in Dubai who owns the architectural side of every structural commission, from first coordination to permit and site support. The architect prepares architectural layouts, sections, elevations and permit drawing sets that align with the structural design.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate closely with structural engineers on grids, levels, openings, transfer structures, cores and setbacks.
• Prepare and submit building permit, modification, addition and alteration applications through Dubai Municipality e-services, and respond to authority comments within agreed timelines.
• Check designs against the Dubai Building Code, planning regulations (setbacks, heights, FAR/GFA, parking) and the UAE Fire and Life Safety Code.
• Coordinate approvals and NOCs with Dubai Civil Defence, DEWA, RTA, Etisalat/du and master developers where needed.
• Review consultant, contractor and client drawings for architectural and structural coordination issues.
• Support site supervision, inspections and completion certificate applications on consultancy projects.
• Prepare and review BIM models and drawings to company CAD/BIM standards, and maintain project documentation, transmittals and authority correspondence.
• Mentor junior architects and draughtspersons.
