About the role

American Gulf School is expanding its curriculum and seeks an enthusiastic Art Teacher to inspire young learners. The role involves delivering a dynamic visual arts program while integrating technology and fostering a safe, creative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging art lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
• Incorporate digital tools and technology to enhance learning experiences.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students to support artistic development.
• Maintain classroom safety and uphold the school’s safeguarding policies.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Visual Arts or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an American or IB school.
• Valid teaching credential or license.
• Native‑like English proficiency or IELTS score of 8+.
• Demonstrated ability to create an innovative, student‑centred learning environment.
