Asset Manager – Construction

About the role

Albatha Group is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee heavy equipment, machinery, vehicles and other construction assets across multiple projects in Sharjah. The role ensures optimal utilization, maintenance and control of assets throughout their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the company's PMV, heavy equipment, machinery, vehicles and construction‑related assets across multiple projects.
• Coordinate allocation and deployment of equipment to sites based on project schedules and requirements.
• Oversee equipment warehouse/storage, ensuring proper organization, security, documentation and control.
• Maintain accurate records of asset location, condition, utilization, maintenance history and ownership.
• Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to keep equipment safe and operational.
• Identify under‑utilized or excess equipment and recommend reallocation.
• Track equipment‑related costs such as maintenance, repairs, transportation and rentals.
• Prepare regular reports on asset utilization, availability, condition, movement, maintenance and costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Logistics, Asset Management or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in asset management, plant & machinery management or construction logistics.
• Strong understanding of construction site operations, project requirements and HSE standards.
• Experience managing equipment warehouses or storage facilities.
