Assistant Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to support the monitoring, analysis and control of fuel management reports and related financial records. The role ensures accuracy, efficiency and proper reconciliation of fuel transactions and consumption across our operations in Sharjah.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily fuel transactions and consumption records using the fuel management system.
• Analyse fuel reports to identify discrepancies, abnormal consumption or operational issues.
• Prepare periodic analytical reports for management review.
• Verify fuel usage data against operational activities and fleet/equipment records.
• Coordinate investigations and reporting with operations, workshop and station teams.
• Maintain accurate records and support data integrity in the system.
• Assist in improving reporting procedures and fuel control measures.
• Support troubleshooting and follow‑up related to fuel management system operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or certification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Previous experience in report analysis, data monitoring or accounting‑related roles.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities with great attention to detail.
