Assistant Brand Manager (Cosmetics)

About the role

MDX is looking for an Assistant Brand Manager for its cosmetics business in Dubai. The role develops and executes brand plans to grow awareness and position the cosmetic product lines, working closely with product development, sales and creative teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic brand plans to drive growth, awareness and positioning of the cosmetic product lines.
• Analyze the market and competitors to understand customer needs, competitive positioning and emerging trends, and identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure the brand's visual identity, voice and messaging stay consistent across all marketing materials and campaigns.
• Collaborate with product development, sales and creative teams to keep the brand aligned with company goals.
• Assist in developing and executing the brand strategy and marketing plans to meet client objectives.
• Innovate new strategies to boost brand visibility and customer engagement.

Required profile

• 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar brand management role, or specifically within the cosmetics industry.
• Located in or willing to work in Dubai.
• Strong background in market and commercial analysis.
• Solid understanding of brand management principles and of maintaining visual identity.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, creative and product development.
