Assistant Brand Manager – Food (Dubai)

About the role

The Assistant Brand Manager – Food will support the planning and execution of brand strategies for Agthia’s food portfolio in Dubai. This role focuses on project management for product innovations and on‑ground brand experiences, ensuring timely launches and effective budget use.

Key responsibilities

• Manage timelines for New Product Development (NPD) and Product Portfolio Architecture (PPA) to ensure on‑time launches.
• Act as central liaison between R&D, Procurement and Sales to drive product approvals and stage‑gate milestones.
• Oversee the artwork approval process, ensuring designs align with brand guidelines and deadlines.
• Track and report monthly A&C expenditures, keeping spend within the approved yearly budget.
• Manage the end‑to‑end purchase order process, ensuring timely vendor payments and accurate accruals.
• Update packaging artwork for nutritional facts, ingredient lists and legal claims to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Maintain an organized digital asset library and ensure all SKUs reflect updated branding.
• Collaborate with QA/R&D to guarantee packaging changes meet food safety and local regulations.
• Lead brand event execution by sharing creative briefs and managing on‑site requirements.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within FMCG or Food & Beverage.
• Strong knowledge of the marketing mix, product development, competitor assessment and financial management.
• Practical understanding of the 4 Ps of marketing and solid financial literacy for managing A&C budgets and conducting PPA analysis.
