Assistant Director – Asset Protection

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island, the UAE’s first integrated resort slated to open in 2027, is seeking an Assistant Director – Asset Protection to support its Security team. The role oversees security across gaming, site, events, staff accommodation and logistics, ensuring safety and compliance while delivering Forbes 5‑Star service.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee operational delivery for gaming, site, event security, staff accommodation and logistics.
• Support the Director in high‑pressure decision‑making and incident management.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures and operational frameworks.
• Maintain compliance with local regulations, gaming laws and company policies.
• Manage relationships with government authorities, emergency services and law enforcement.
• Conduct operational reviews, gap analysis and recommend continuous improvements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, purchase order management and financial tracking.
• Lead recruitment, training, workforce planning and staff development initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in security or related field (or equivalent).
• Minimum 10 years leadership experience in hospitality‑security for large operations.
• Strong analytical, organizational and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; confident interacting with executive leaders.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to business demand.
