Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer will develop, implement and maintain safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff at Rixos Hotels in Ras Al Khaimah.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain safety policies in line with local, national and international regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments and audits to identify hazards.
• Lead safety training sessions and investigate accidents, incidents and near‑misses.
• Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, training, inspections and corrective actions.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment and act as the point of contact for all safety‑related matters.
• Promote teamwork, uphold high standards of cleanliness in pool areas and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a Safety Officer or HSE role, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety or related field (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and risk management regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to train and support employees at all levels.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving abilities.
