Assistant Front Desk Manager – Rooms Controller

About the role

Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is seeking an Assistant Front Desk Manager to act as Rooms Controller, ensuring optimal room allocation, revenue maximisation and exceptional guest experiences at our luxury resort on Palm Jumeirah.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically allocate rooms to maximise occupancy, revenue and guest satisfaction while balancing inventory across all categories.
• Coordinate pre‑arrival arrangements, prioritising VIPs, repeat guests and special requests in collaboration with Housekeeping and other departments.
• Match guest preferences, manage room moves and oversee VIP amenities and welcome services.
• Serve as the central liaison between Front Office, Housekeeping, Sales and Reservations to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Utilise Opera PMS, forecasting tools and HotSOS for accurate room management, reporting and support of paid‑upgrade strategies.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in Front Office, Reservations or Rooms Division.
• Proficient in Opera PMS, Microsoft Office and HotSOS.
• Strong multitasking, communication and guest‑service abilities.
• Analytical mindset with fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
