Housekeeping Trainee – Rooms

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Housekeeping Trainee to join the Rooms team at Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in delivering the high standards of cleanliness and service expected by our luxury guests.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance, arrive on time in the correct uniform and provide courteous service to guests and internal teams.
• Monitor room status and ensure assigned guest rooms, corridors, back‑of‑house areas, stairways and service pantries are clean, safe and well‑presented.
• Report any defects or maintenance issues to team leaders promptly.
• Keep housekeeping equipment clean and in good working order to extend its lifespan.
• Follow fire, hygiene, health and safety policies and procedures, especially in emergencies.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely according to company guidelines.
• Stock and organise supplies daily to guarantee adequate provision for guests.
