Assistant HR Manager – Talent Acquisition & HR Operations (FMCG/Manufacturing)

About the role

A well-established organisation in the UAE is hiring an Assistant HR Manager through Black Pearl Consult. This is a hands-on generalist role focused on recruitment, onboarding, talent development and day-to-day HR operations, working closely with department heads, employees and external service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment process, from manpower requests and candidate sourcing to interviews, selection and offer coordination
• Work with department heads to understand hiring needs and build talent pipelines
• Handle pre-employment documents, joining formalities, induction and probation follow-up
• Coordinate the annual Training Needs Analysis, training calendar, budget and training records
• Support succession planning, employee development plans and readiness assessments for critical positions
• Coordinate performance appraisals, including goal setting, KPI tracking and completion reports
• Manage employee medical insurance, business travel arrangements and prepare HR letters and policy guidance
• Maintain employee records, HR trackers, dashboards and SAP HCM/HRIS data, and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual HR reports
• Support HR projects, policy reviews, audits and governance requirements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• At least 6-8 years of progressive HR experience
• Previous experience as a Senior HR Officer, Senior HR Executive, HR Supervisor or Assistant HR Manager
• Good knowledge of UAE employment practices; UAE or GCC experience strongly preferred
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or another large, multi-department organisation is an advantage
• Good written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with SAP HCM and other HRIS platforms strongly preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Strong communication, reporting and stakeholder-management skills
