Assistant Logistics Supervisor

About the role

The Assistant Supervisor (Logistics) will coordinate daily dispatches and ensure smooth delivery operations in line with the company’s business plan. The role also acts as the deputy for the Transport Senior Supervisor when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and optimise daily resource utilisation, floor activities and delivery operations to maximise productivity.
• Schedule outgoing truck loading, routing and delivery to meet lead‑time targets while maximising fleet utilisation.
• Ensure stock accuracy by verifying quantities loaded and received, and conduct weekly cycle counts.
• Manage delivery returns, verify quantity and quality, and handle collection of payments and invoice confirmations.
• Maintain product quality standards, inspect incoming/outgoing trailers, and train delivery staff to achieve high picking and delivery accuracy.

Required profile

• Graduate in a relevant discipline or high‑school graduate with equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in fleet management.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance principles and implementation.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
